Children and young people from Armed Forces families are being celebrated in April, which has been designated as the ‘Month of the Military Child’. The aim is to highlight the challenges they face and overcome, applaud their strengths and raise awareness of what their lives are like.

The official emblem of the Month of the Military Child is a dandelion because its seeds are blown far and wide by the wind but it will plant roots and blossom wherever these seeds land.

The purple background reflects all branches of the military – a combination of Army green, Air Force Blue, Navy blue, Coast Guard blue and Marine red.

Crofton DandeLIONs is a group for military children.
The group runs in M6, every Tuesday week B from 3.15pm - 4.15pm

The group leaders are:
Mrs Duffy
Mr De-Saint
Mrs Coston
