At Crofton, we recognise that the move to secondary school is a major and memorable event in a young person's life. We aim to make the transition journey an enjoyable and informative experience. We know that it can be an anxious time and it is important to us that we prepare each young person fully so that they settle in quickly when they join us.

​Once a Year 6 student has gained a place at Crofton School for the following September, the process of preparing for Induction will begin.

Moving from primary to secondary school is a huge milestone in a child’s life and we understand that some will have worries or anxieties about joining us. We are currently working in partnerships with all the feeder schools to gather vital data ensure your son/daughter is visited by one of our team and some of our student Transition Leaders before the Transition Induction Days in July.
