Dear Parents and Carers,
As you may be aware, there are weather warnings in place for tomorrow, Wednesday 8 January, and it is possible that snow may have some impact on the school. At this stage we do not anticipate any need to partially or fully close the school, or to change our start and finish times. However, this situation may change. Therefore, I am writing to alert you to the possibility of disruption tomorrow.
We will communicate through our usual channels immediately if there is any change, but otherwise please assume the school will be open as usual.
Please ensure your child has appropriate warm outdoor clothing for the conditions, allow more time for the journey into school, and remind your child to take extra care when travelling if conditions are cold or snowy.
Please also monitor your email and the school website for any further updates, including tomorrow morning before the start of the school day and during the school day.
Yours faithfully
Mr S Harrison
Headteacher
